Saying Goodbye

We've known for the past few months that our good friends and neighbors would be leaving for Austin, MN. However, it doesn't make saying goodbye any easier. It's not easy to say good bye to a friend that makes you laugh and you can share your darkest secrets with and they still like ya anyway. I know it's only a few hours away, but they won't be down the street for a spontaneous playdate or workout. Here are some pics of our "Going away" girls night out and scrapbooking night.  Also included are pictures of our kids over the years. My personal favorites are the girls in their dance costumes and Joey and Sam when they were chubby infants in the double stroller.

Baby Boy's First Haircut

Carson had his first haircut yesterday. What a big boy! He looks a little worried I think! I had to hold a few tears back because now he looks like a big boy and I want him to stay my baby!! Oh well... C'est la vie right?

Raspberry Picking

I took the kids raspberry picking one evening. Luckily, Laura watched Carson and I took Ellie with me. We went with Shannon, Rielly, and Sidney. It was fun and the girls were super helpers. The next day we made raspberry jam...my favorite!

Lake City Trip

The kids and I took a trip to Lake City to visit Aunti Tiff and Brooke. We sure miss them! But their new house is very cute and so close to the river! Lake City is a beautiful town and we had a great time! click on the below link to view our trip.

Being a Mom....

If I could freeze time, I would this summer. I can't believe I get to be the mom of these three amazing kids. They are so funny and precious. They are the reason I get out of bed at 6 am just to make scrambled eggs and toast every morning! It's the reason why I broke down and let them choose Coco Puffs at the store this week! Don't get me wrong, some days I want to open the door and scream, but mostly they make me laugh and wonder..... I don't know what I would do if Sophia didn't ask me a million questions, or if Joey didn't sneak cookies in her pocket, or if Carson didn't curl up with me on the rocking chair. Seriously, what would I be doing? It doesn't matter because the thing I love most about my life is being a mom, and I never said any different.
